GEMpcIndividual mating
From waiting weeks to getting results immediately.
A laptop-based mating program developed for Accelerated Genetics. To the best of my knowledge, GEMpc was the first U.S. mating program to run on a laptop and deliver instant results. It was used internationally to mate millions of cows and remained especially valued in Central America.
A conventional process transformed by putting the answer directly in the field.

A mating strategy for herds without individual records.
An original population-based concept that worked with whatever records were available—even semen purchase receipts. IMAGE classified bulls by how safely they could be used across a group of cows, bringing structured mating guidance to regions where management software was not widely available.

A handheld application for synchronization protocols and treatment administration. ASAP helped technicians manage the details reliably—and, just as importantly, made their work predictable enough to schedule their weeks.

I grew up on a beef farm and have spent nearly 30 years working in the dairy industry. During that time, I have developed internationally used software, led information systems for a major genetics organization, managed a dairy platform, and worked directly with the people who depend on these systems.
That experience helps me see the entire problem—not just the requested feature. Entwine exists to turn that understanding into software and data systems that make work simpler, faster, and more reliable.
